Diana karazon is an Arab artist born in Kuwait, in 1983. She grew up in Jordan.
Her family is of mixed Palestinian and Jordanian ancestry. Since she was a child, she started singing. At the age of 6 years old, she performed her first song in public.
It was the song �Ya ayyuha al meleko� dedicated to the Jordanian King Hussein. Later on, she started to participate in different musical competitions in Jordan and abroad.
Diana karazon had the opportunity to start a professional artistic career when she won the contest at MBC TV station and went to the TV show �Super Star�, the Arab version of �Pop Idol�. In 2003, when she won in the TV show, Diana rose to fame.
After this success, Diana started working on her first album �Ensany Mabensak�. The album, including songs in different Arab dialects, was very successful. Two years later, in 2005, Diana released a second album �Al Omr Mashi�.
The album was successful too. Diana confirmed her status as the most successful singer in Jordan.
After that, Diana released several hit singles such as "Jarh", "Kalam Alain" (a Libyan song) and "Ah be mazagi". She also had her own TV show �A Duet with Diana� in Ramadan 2009.
In 2010, Diana released her third album �Diana2010�. She included in it Lebanese, Egyptian, Jordanian, Khaliji, and Iraqi songs.
Throughout her career, Diana karazon won several awards such as : Best New Song for �Ensani Mabensak� in 2003, Best Singer in Jordan presented to her by the King Abdallah the same year, and Song of the year Track and video Clip (lamma Teba Habibi) Egypt Music Award 2006.
